Highland Packers opened in 1958 in Upper Stoney Creek. Operating as a slaughterhouse and a butcher shop, which catered to a large European ethnic community. Highland Packers soon earned a reputation as being a custom meat specialist, with first class people providing the highest quality meat at a fair price.

In 2001 Highland Country Market was opened, a single location retail food store. Unlike a traditional grocery store, Highland Country Market is spacious, comfortable and welcoming in a unique country market style environment. It is a place where only the freshest meat, produce, and baked goods are sold. In fact, we have the longest meat counter in the area, with over 100 feet of choice cuts of beef, pork, and everything else you can imagine! All top quality, and the freshest you can buy!
