Our Philosophy
Like many of our clients, we are a mid-sized business that is small enough to give each client the full attention of a senior partner, yet large enough to have the specialized knowledge of a larger firm. Each Chartered Accountant at Vine and Partners has a different specialty from which the others draw on as needed. As a result, our clients receive the same level of expertise expected from a ‘National’ accounting firm, with the added advantage of a high level of personal commitment.
Accounting Services
The Vine team offers the standard accounting and auditing services such as financial statement preparation, review engagements and audit engagements, along with the required corporate and personal tax returns. However, we also offer a wide variety of services that go beyond the typical accounting firm.
Tax Services
We have a growing tax team that continues to add CICA trained tax experts. These professionals are responsible not only for filing corporate and personal tax returns, but also assist our clients with tax planning, estate planning, succession planning, transfer pricing, and a wide variety of other tax issues.
Vine Valuations
Another growing area in the Vine group is our valuation practice. Vine has two Certified Business Valuators (CBVs) on staff that can help to determine the value of your company. This valuation can be used in mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, family law, or CRA tax related disputes.
Vine SR&ED
Vine also has experts in the research and development field. These experts have engineering backgrounds and experience in filing SR&ED claims with the Canada Revenue Agency. They can provide advice and guidance in this area, and even complete the SR&ED claim forms for our clients.
